Make it in America
The Make it in America program is a challenge program offered by EDA to help communities in the United States build or expand operations with a special focus on recapturing investments and jobs in industries that were previously lost due to international competition. EDA partnered in this endeavor with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration (DOLETA) to provide grant funding for successful applicants.
Buckeye Hills in partnership with the Appalachian Partnership for Economic Growth (APEG), and the Ohio Valley Employment Resource (OVER) submitted a successful application for a project entitled 'Make it in Appalachian Ohio.'
