Who We Are

Buckeye Hills is a regional council of governments established in 1968. Our mission is to improve the lives and socioeconomic conditions of the residents in the eight county region of southeastern Ohio.

Buckeye Hills is a charter member of the Appalachian Ohio Geospatial Data Partnership, an active member of the OGRIP forum, and the GIS staff are members of the Ohio Chapter of URISA.

Buckeye Hills has been providing GIS mapping and data services to the region since the late 1980's. We've probably seen it all.

Buckeye Hills and it's staff are committed to working with our partners across all levels of government to solve problems and answer questions facing our partners in the region.

Geospatial information is more than just knowing 'where'.

(although that's important too)
